Bitwise’s US crypto exchange-traded products saw roughly $100 million in net inflows on Aug. 27, with Solana-related products attracting the largest share. Bitcoin, Hyperliquid and XRP funds also recorded significant demand, pointing to broader investor interest beyond the largest cryptocurrency.
Solana Products Lead Bitwise’s Daily Inflows
Bitwise CEO Hunter Horsley reported approximately $100 million of net inflows across the firm’s US crypto exchange-traded products during Thursday’s session.
Solana products accounted for about $40 million, making them the biggest contributor. Bitcoin products followed with roughly $22 million, while Hyperliquid and XRP products brought in approximately $20 million and $12 million, respectively.
Ethereum products attracted around $1.4 million.
The disclosed figures add up to approximately $95.4 million, with the difference from the reported $100 million likely reflecting other Bitwise products and rounding. Horsley’s figures are preliminary issuer disclosures, and a complete fund-by-fund creation report had not yet been released.
BSOL Records Its Strongest Trading Session
Bitwise’s Solana Staking ETF, known as BSOL, was particularly active during the session.
The fund recorded more than $126 million in trading volume, its highest single-session figure since its October 2025 launch. That compared with roughly $108 million in volume recorded on Aug. 24.
BSOL differs from a conventional crypto fund because it stakes a large portion of its Solana holdings and passes staking rewards to investors after applicable fees and expenses.
The growing activity around the product suggests investors may be responding not only to Solana’s price exposure but also to the potential income generated through staking.
However, strong trading activity should not automatically be interpreted as equivalent to new investment. Trading volume measures the value of shares changing hands, while net inflows measure fresh capital entering a fund through creations.
Hyperliquid and XRP Attract Strong Interest
Hyperliquid and XRP products also contributed meaningfully to Bitwise’s results.
Hyperliquid funds attracted approximately $20 million, while XRP products added around $12 million. Combined, the two categories accounted for about $32 million of the reported daily inflows.
Alongside Solana, these three altcoin categories generated roughly $72 million, highlighting how much of the day’s reported demand was directed toward assets outside Bitcoin and Ethereum.
The figures also indicate that investors are increasingly using exchange-traded products to gain exposure to a broader range of digital assets.
Still, a single day’s flows cannot establish whether the trend represents a lasting shift in investor preferences.
Trading Volume Does Not Equal Fund Inflows
The difference between trading activity and actual fund inflows is important when evaluating products such as BSOL.
If an ETF share changes hands several times during a trading session, each transaction contributes to trading volume. But those trades do not necessarily increase the number of shares outstanding or add new assets to the fund.
New capital enters an ETF primarily when additional shares are created, while redemptions remove assets.
Consequently, BSOL’s $126 million-plus trading volume does not mean that investors placed $126 million of new money into the fund. The figure attributed to Bitwise’s Solana products was approximately $40 million in net inflows.
This distinction is particularly important when comparing ETF popularity based on market activity versus actual capital allocation.
Bitcoin Demand Remains Strong
Bitwise’s results came amid a broader recovery in US crypto investment products.
Spot Bitcoin ETFs had recorded eight consecutive sessions of net inflows through Aug. 26, with total inflows during that period reaching roughly $2.8 billion, according to the figures provided.
BlackRock’s IBIT accounted for a substantial portion of that activity, contributing approximately $2.02 billion.
Bitcoin’s recovery has occurred alongside renewed ETF demand and broader shifts in macroeconomic conditions. However, strong fund inflows do not guarantee that prices will continue rising.
ETF demand can reverse quickly, while investors may also increase allocations after prices have already moved higher.
Investors Are Watching the Next Flow Data
The next important data point will be the official fund-level figures showing whether Thursday’s reported activity translated into higher assets under management and additional ETF shares outstanding.
Investors will also be watching whether Solana maintains its lead within Bitwise’s product lineup or whether future allocations shift back toward Bitcoin and Ethereum.
For now, the latest figures suggest that crypto ETF demand is becoming increasingly diversified, with Solana, Hyperliquid and XRP attracting meaningful capital alongside Bitcoin and Ether.
